A Praise Report!

After a stroke in June left me with very limited and double vision, I was encouraged by the prayers of all my friends and family. At first I was disappointed to learn that of all the specialist I visited, none could restore what had been damaged. I guess I thought it would be an easy fix for the right doctor, but where hope in doctors fade my hope in God grows stronger. After all, God has been with me through many things that ended extremely well!

This could not have happened at a worse time for me, or so I thought, because we were in the process of making ministry changes for the future. I couldn’t drive, couldn’t go into stores, and the worst of it was that I could not see to read my Bible. It was certainly an inconvenience, but I never let go of the fact that God was hanging on to me and I was not letting go of Him. Long story short, today I am only about two weeks from vacation and my eyesight is almost completely restored! In fact, I think my glasses may be a little too strong for me now.

I am thankful to God for all He has done for me, the outcome of this could have been much worse. I want to thank you all for the prayers; they brought me improvement daily, which was an expected answer to those prayers! I know that we are truly about to begin the most exciting chapter of our life, so bring on that vacation!

(Psalms 139:14 NLT) “Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous–how well I know it.”

Keep us in prayer as we are evaluating major changes for this Ministry. More information coming soon!
